This page showcases all of the cool promotional materials I was able to make for the Gainey School of Business Service Bureau. Take a look.
Premiere Pro
The first application I used during this class was Premiere Pro, a video editing software. At first I had a really cool idea to film students in the GSBSB and put a voiceover over the B-Roll. Although, because of the short time I had between being assigned this project and the COVID-19 outbreak, I decided to do a short PSA for my draft video that could easily be filmed at home. I set my phone camera in a place with good lighting and shared information like how I would if I was talking to one of my peers. Because this wasn’t as formal as I liked, for my final client video I found some fun pictures of students and faculty at SAU and did a voiceover sharing some information about the club. This was the closest I could get to my original idea.
Audition
The second application we learned about was adobe audition. For this project I decided to do a fun radio advertisement sharing information about the GSBSB. For the draft audio I completed a full one minute script and added fun music in the background. I wanted something simple that could be used as a template for future reference. For my final client advertisement I recorded audio using the same script just modified a little bit and tried to get it under forty-five seconds. I then added different, quieter music and put it behind a frame on premiere pro so that I could upload it on youtube.
Photoshop

The third application I used to make promotional material for my client was Photoshop. This was the hardest one in my opinion. For this annual pizza party flyer I wanted to keep it as minimalistic as possible. That way it could be updated and edited every semester with new information. For this specific flyer I downloaded some fun clipart of a piece of pizza and then typed in potential phrases.
InDesign
The last application I used was InDesign. By using this I was able to create another minimalist promotional material for my client, a business card. I didn’t want to make anything too crazy, just a way for potential members or clients to get a hold of the current presidents and faculty advisor. When the website is up and running that will also be included on the business card. This one was a little difficult to navigate because of the lines but I was able to create a basic outline that could be changed later if need be.
